Born Survivor - Gisburn 22
This challenge was located in the stunning Ribble Valley. Epic 5km & 10km routes designed by Royal Marines Commandos to create the UK’s most authentic and epic Military Obstacle Course.

Completed with (thankfully!) no injuries and raised £560 taking our total for The Standing Tall Foundation - Andy Reid MBE to £3964

C&J Charity Football Tournament
Our full team (with some youth reinforcements from nephews and siblings) entered the C&J charity shield yesterday.
We had an absolute ball, but unfortunately for us we are not as good at playing football as we are at cleaning windows
Great to get involved with helping fund raise for a brilliant cause

The Montane Lakeland 50 & 100
Really proud to say that I completed my second fundraiser, the Lakeland 50 (July 21)
​
The Lakeland 50 is one of the greatest trail challenges in Europe. The route started at the Northern end of Ullswater and finished 50 miles later at Coniston. It's almost double the distance of a marathon, on rough terrain, with approximately 3100m of ascent!
​
It was easily the hardest thing I have ever done! The last 4 hours, not being able to bend my left knee, were a nightmare. I would have given up with 10 miles to go, but thinking about what Andy Reid has gone through and what he does for people with his The Andy Reid Standing Tall Foundation kept me going until the end. There was no way I wasn't going to finish!

Well done to Stuart Brighouse for smashing it too (a lot quicker than me!)

We raised £1,115, taking the running total for the foundation to £3,404
Easter 2021
4 x 4 x 48 Challenge
My first fundraiser took place over the Easter weekend. It was a 4x4x48 challenge - 4 miles run every 4 hours for 48 hours and although it was tough at times, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

The challenge has currently raised over £2200 for The Andy Reid Standing Tall Foundation, and also hopefully raised awareness too.

Andy Reid MBE and his Standing Tall Foundation are such an inspiration and I am delighted to that The Andy Reid Standing Tall Foundation is our chosen charity for the next two years. Our aim is to raise £5000 during this time
GIRLS FOOTBALL
We are proud to support local grassroots girls football for a fourth season running. This year we are supporting Rainford Ladies Athletic, a newly formed girls club which promise to provide a bright future for local girls who just want to play football.
Looking forward to supporting this club and wish them all the luck in the world this season and for the future.
